the AO made the tree look better but now the clouds are crap

ok so i stayed up till 4am waiting for this one to churn out, but it was well worth it

basically the entire thing was modeled by hand from start to finish in about 3 hours i guess.

im uber proud of the clouds, since that was the first time i realized the benefits of putting the clouds on their own layer with their own light.  and stuff.

also of course the tree since that was by hand >> cube >> extrude >> sculpt tool

and then i learned what [SHIFT+P] the push tool is for:

1. make a plane for the ground and rough it up a bit
2. put your camera where you want it
3. go look thru it at your plane
4. select the horizon stuff on the plane you want with b,b
5. push the stuff away or towards the camera,
6.  shrink, repeat,
7. etcetera…

there is nothing about blender that does not absolutely kick ass.  Ton, you are a genius.  Thank you.

Have we reached the 9th of 10 steps to close down a free society w/ HR1955?

This article points out the 10 steps necessary to close an open society, and it seems that with H.R. 1955: Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007, the 9th step of Dissent = Treason is finally coming to fruition, with this new act labeling US citizens as terrorists if they have “an extremist belief.”

progressing quite well with procedural textures in blender

im really proud of the fact that this is just one sphere and one plane and one light.  its all done with the normals and translucency ( and mist ).  some choppy stuff on the right side is odd and has me pondering…
